Through technological improvements and the combined efforts of mine operators, mine workers, and governmental agencies, the disasters that were once commonplace in the mining industry have become very rare events. Nonetheless, events that result in loss of life and/or financial losses have not been entirely eliminated.

Our engineers have provided expert witness testimony in cases such as underground explosions, mine fires, inundations, geotechnical failures (roof falls, bumps, and bursts), and other catastrophic events.
